Small Luxury Hotels of the World are a brand representing more than 500 small independent luxury hotels across 70 countries. The challenge was to provide one central online repository, so that all the hoteliers could benefit from their membership.
SLH realized the necessity of creating a centralized platform to host brand information and resources for its 500 hotels. www.myslh.com provides hoteliers with a personalized online experience giving them the access to dashboard reservation performance reports, industry events and roadshows, brand/ hotel news and awards and much more. “The new website has really helped us communicate with our hotels more speedily and efficiently” says Miles.
Main communication channel“We strongly encourage all our hotels to use www. myslh.com regularly – it’s now our main communication channel with them. To help flag recent posts or items that are particularly newsworthy, we’re going to use EPiServer CMS to send alerts to hotels notifying them of recent updates that they may find of interest. We are a personality-led business and we need this unique characteristic to be translated online,” says Miles.SLH are using EPiServer Mail to create emails for consumers and hoteliers and they are also using it to help promote the brand and its hotels to travel agents. “We can segment our travel agent database so they only receive emails relevant to them based on booking behavior,” says Miles.
Reservation have increased by 45%Powered by EPiServer CMS and EPiServer Mail, the new online solutions enable super-efficient communication with hoteliers, travel agents and customers. Since launch, reservations have increased by 45%.
